Pike County Relief Services is managed by a community of compassionate servants. We are all volunteers so that 100% of your donations go to helping survivors secure safe, secure, and sanitary housing.
Meet The Team
Sandy Penix
Current President of PCRS, Inc. Sandy is a Benefit Advisor for The Benefits Firm. Mother to five boys, and six grandchildren with one on the way. She is also on the Appalachian Pregnancy Care Center board. Sandy plays the piano, organ, flute, mandolin in ministry with her husband Larry, pastor of Salem Gospel Fellowship. Her favorite past time is playing with her grandchildren!
Mike Harrison
Mike is our Vice President and one of our directors. He is the pastor of First Christian Church and is also on the board of directors for Helping Hands.
Lynette Schindler
Lynette is our treasurer and one of our directors. Her expertise as a local accountant makes her invaluable to our group's work.
Novella Froman
Novella is one of our directors, and the secretary of our meetings. She is a retired 4-H Extension agent and she loves antiques and old glassware. Novella is the president of the Rotary Club.
Josh Howell
Josh is one of our directors and our communications director. He is the pastor of Grace Baptist Church. Josh has a wife, 5 kids, a dog and a cat. He loves Alabama football and a good cup of coffee.
Thomas Reid
Thomas is one of our directors, and the leader of our unmet needs team. He is the pastor of Virgie Baptist Church. Thomas loves running, biking, weight lifting, hiking, reading, and competitive marksmanship.
Dr. Oscar Thompson
Dr. Thompson is in of our directors and does great work engaging donors to support the work of PCRS. He's always quick to help where needed.
Kenny Schmidt
Kenny is one of our directors and our Warehouse Manager.
